We named China, Abbie and she is just doing wonderful. She is so loving and very smart.
We had that crazy trip to Alaska planned right after we brought Abbie home so she has had quite a bit of socializing with the girls coming in to feed the dogs and cats and our horses. I was afraid she wouldn't remember who her Mommy was but when we got home last night she was so excited she couldn't sleep the rest of the night...of course we were exhausted but Abbie was in high gear to see us.
She is a beautiful little girl and so friendly with everyone. We have taken her to several community events and she loves to visit with people. We took her up to the mountain park for a walk and she loves it up there. She stays right with us when she is off leash. My little Pomeranian, Jill, goes along also and Abbie has to do everything Jill does.
We have several cats and the youngest one loves to tease Abbie and plays with her and Abbie is very sweet and gentle with her.
All in all she settled in right away into her new home and has learned quite a lot already. She has been very easy to house break and we got glowing reports from the house sitter while we were gone about her being such a good dog. I will send more pictures as she grows.
